Kathy Lipscomb

LIPSCOMB - Kathy Ann Lipscomb, age 59, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Lewis; mother, Dorothy Cleland; parents-in-law, Dorothy and Earl Lipscomb. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bill Lipscomb; children, Elizabeth (Andy) Borek, Sam (Samantha Dieck) Lipscomb; grandson, Brody Borek; sisters, Linda (Joe) Lake, Laura (Scott) Seher, Barb (Dean Krouse) Lewis; sister-in-law, Diane (Dan) Williams; brother-in-law, Alan Lipscomb; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy loved ceramics and enjoyed crafting, sometimes for days at a time. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially when hosting events for family and friends. Kathy's longtime passion for drag racing spanned for over 39 years. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchild, and spoiling her Boston Terriers. Kathy's family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 6 to 9 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE. Private services will be held.
