Kathryn Meyer

Kathryn Jane Meyer, age 83, of Allendale, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Fredric Meyer; and brother-in-law, George Visser. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Melody and Paul Boersma, Craig and Nancy Meyer, Connie Meyer; grandchildren, Aaron and Hannah Beth Boersma, Joel Boersma and fiancée, Megan Sterba, Emily and Patrick Sanders, Jessica and Brett Dykstra, Beth Meyer, Joy Meyer, Abigail and Jason Sissing, Melissa and Andre LaTour; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty and Phillip “Mark” Alderink, Shirley Visser; nephew, Tom and Cindy Vander Wal. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at noon at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Rev. Paul Boersma officiating. A light luncheon and time of reception will follow the service. The burial will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grace Adventures Retreat Center in Mears Michigan.
