Kathryn Marie Papke

Kathryn Marie Papke, age 63, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Papke; sister, Kelly Papke; step-father, Jack Jennings. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jonna and Joe Grostick; grandchildren, Jamison, Jori, and Jerron Grostick; mother, Shelia Jennings; siblings, Kirk and Tracy Papke, Joseph and Bernadette Papke, Jr., sister, Deb Papke. Kathryn was a teacher with Kent County Head Start and enjoyed having a positive influence on children. She was hardworking and loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I worked with Kathy at head start for many years. She always smiled. She was a great friend, always there whenever you needed. She was very giving of herself. She will be missed but we will see each other again.

I loved working with Kathy. Being one of her CNAs i absolutely loved her. I used to talk to her everytime I would come in for work. Ask her about some stuff and she always knew what to say. Always loved her smile and laugh. I am going to miss her so much.
