Kathlyn Marie Higgins

Kathlyn Marie “Pat” Higgins, age 89, of Hastings, formerly of Wyoming,  went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Higgins and son-in-law Mike Van Dorp. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tom and Sharon Higgins, Jan and Ed Neuman, Mike and Lajuana Higgins, Sue Van Dorp, James and Renee Higgins, Ann and Les Conklin; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jim Wood, Mary and Sam Peterson, Joe and Bonnie Wood, Phyllis Purwin; dear friend of the family, Dave Renolds; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Pat was very devoted to her Lord and her family and was also  known for her great sense of humor.   The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Thornapple Manor for their compassionate and loving care.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft SE.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7:30 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Chapel (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St.
