Kathleen Mary Thompson

Kathleen Mary (Seibold) Thompson, age 69, of Hopkins, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Kathy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Timothy Thompson; daughter, Cynthia and Anthony Brown; sons, Robert and Christine Ellis, John and Judy Thompson; grandchildren, Erica, Tiffany, Brianna, Sophia, and Dylan; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Mike Seibold, Steve Seibold, and Dick Seibold; and many extended family members and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester “Bud” and Clara (Terrell) Seibold; sister, Mary Lea Seibold; brother, Joseph Seibold; and grandson, Robert Timothy Ellis. To celebrate Kathy's life a memorial open house will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 3-5 PM in the Memories Room at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

To the Thompson family, I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the incredible amount of pain you may be feeling right now. I know words can only work so much at this time, but please allow gods word to comfort you at this time. Isaiah 26:19 says: "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, you residents in the dust! The earth will let those powerless in death come to life" This is one of many scriptures that talk about a resurrection of our dead loved ones right to this earth!
