Kathleen Dennis

DENNIS - Mrs. Kathleen A. Dennis aged 60, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Helen DeRuiter, husband, David Dennis, brothers, Peter and Robert. Surviving are her daughter, Kari Lynn Dennis; granddaughter, Aaliyah; grandson, Livan, JR.; sister, Mary Robinson; special aunt, Lee Vierley and her children, Sandy (David) Davis, Gregory Vierley; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Wendy) Dennis, Denny (Jennifer) Dennis; also surviving are Wendy and Livan who she treated as her children; Bud and Jo Dishaw, who were like siblings to her, and their children. A Celebration of Kathie's life will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Grand Rapids First Church, Prayer Chapel, 2100 - 44th St. SW. Her family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 6 to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service at Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her memory may be left with the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, a trust for Kari is being established.
