Deeply saddened, shocked, and dismayed at the tragic news we received. Trusting God will help parents, sister, family, friends, and community heal. Dave and Kris you've done your job well as parents raising 2 amazing girls - I really enjoyed the scrapbook memories shared today. The "Rubbermaid tote sled" takes the cake, Dave! Only an engineer dad can come up with something like that! Remember Jeremiah 29:11.
Deepest sympathies,

I am so sorry for your loss. Katie was a good friend and a loving girl. She was an amazing FFA member, she was a good leader, and she was an amazing student. I meet Katie when I was in Kindergarten I wish I had spent more time with her, not knowing that she would be gone so soon. I believe she is in God's arms and she is looking down and watching over all of us.
Lots of Love,
Ashley Bergy

With all the love we have to give, you are all in our prayers. We've known each other our entire lives and when one of your family is hurting you feel it to the core. I wish I could say that I knew Katie well, but I do know that the world is in mourning over the loss of such a beautiful and talented young lady. I pray that God will be there to comfort you and the whole family and that He will be your rock to stand on when all else seems to be slipping away. Katie will be just as much an Angel in heaven as she was here on earth.
All our love,
Stacia, Geoff, Zack, and Emily
