JUTILA - Katherine M. Jutila, age 66, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine Phipps; brother, Max Phipps; brother-in-law, Rick Knight. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Jutila; children, Cindy (Marques) Banks, Bobbi (Darcy Trippett) Jutila; grandchildren, Jered Jutila, Kaleb Jutila, Cooper Boyd, Lyndsey Franklin; brother, Gary (Debby) Phipps; sisters, Nellie Knight and Mary (Dan) Hindenach; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vicky (Jerry) Jansen, Janet (Fred Carry) Jutila, Sherri (Skip) Weller, Gail Krenn, Alan (Lynn) Jutila, Jay "Nute" Jutila. Katherine was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Morley, Michigan. Per Katherine's request, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Katherine's life will take place in the spring.
