Karen M. Pennock

Karen M. Pennock, age 73, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2023. Karen enjoyed working for Caledonia Schools and she was very involved working concessions, driving bus, and attending her son’s sporting events. She was also a supportive wife of a coach while her husband coached their kids. She was very friendly, but also very “tough” with her kids. She also loved dancing, collecting Christmas decorations, making arts and crafts, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; grandson, Donald Pennock Jr., brothers: Ralph, Kenneth, and Willis Youngs. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Donald and Rose Pennock, Scott and Maura Pennock; grandchildren: Jacob Lewis, Destiny, Lilyana, Isabella, Gabriella, and Scott Pennock Jr.; brothers, William and Les Macklem, Earl “Pat” and Eva Youngs; sister-in-law, Bessie Youngs; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Cody Kuehl officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
