Karen Irene Wentz, age 76, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 17, 2018 and went home to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Van Kampen; brothers, Russ Van Kampen, Ronnie Van Kampen, Kenneth Van Kampen, James Van Kampen; uncle, Joe White. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Natasha Van Kampen, Clyde and Diane Featherly, Sharon Timmerman, Darrell and Dina Featherly, Lenny and Melissa Wentz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
