June Esther (Veenstra) Van Den Top, age 82, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the  Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerrit; brother, Jay Veenstra, sister, Ann Griffioen, infant brother, Jack Veenstra.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Arlene and John Docter (Kimberly, Tyler, William, Arend), Brenda and Dan Lane (Gerrit, Quinn and Emma), Tamara and Jason Cleveland (Jacob, Nathan, Caleb, Ethan); brothers and sisters, Ira and Mary Veenstra, Helen Veenstra, Clara and Gerald Van Den Top, Hazel Besselsen, Merle and Kay Veenstra.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Grace Protestant Reformed Church, O-11225 8th Ave NW, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Ronald Van Overloop officiating.  Interment will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4:30 p.m at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and on Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant Christian High School.
