KEENAN - Mrs. June Keenan aged 96 passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Keenan; sister, Loretta Meyer; brother, Gordon Johnston. Surviving are her three children, Tom Smith, Carolynne (Charles) VanValkenburg, Gary (Sharon) Smith; grandchildren, Steven, Kimberly and Mark VanValkenburg, Steven (Jodi) and Garrad (Denise) Smith; great grandchildren, Lauren and Brooke Van Valkenburg, Cody, Shane, Nathanial and Zackariah Smith; great great grandson, Bryson Smith; brothers, Howard (Gert) Johnston, Gerald (Carol) Johnston; sisters, Patricia Gabbert, Lola Blaszczyk; several nieces and nephews. June will be remembered for her unending love to her family. Her concern for the welfare of children and animals will always be in our thoughts. She was a porcelain designer and artist and had a passion for crafts of all kinds. The family wants to thank the special staff from Spectrum Health Hospice for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and per her wishes no memorial services will be held.
