June Elaine (Crowner) Spitsbergen

June Elaine (Crowner) Spitsbergen, age 92, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior  on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Crowner, her son, Bill Crowner, and her sister, Margaret “Peg” Meine. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of  35 years, Bill Spitsbergen; son, LaVern and Nancy Crowner; daughter-in-law, Sally Crowner; stepchildren, Daniel and Betsy Spitsbergen, Barbara and Don Graham, Deborah (Davis) Smith, Linda and Bill Newhouse, Timothy and Esther Spitsbergen; grandchildren, Roger Crowner, Brian and Heather Crowner, Brenda and Peter Mumbower; 18 step grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 soon to arrive; sisters, Alice Ludlow, Barbara Latchaw; brother, Aldon Koerner; stepbrothers and stepsisters; brother-in-law, Phillip Spitzbergen; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at New Life Baptist Fellowship, 6252 Burlingame Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Pastor C. Powers Payton officiating.  Interment following the service at 2:30pm at Fennville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, and also on Saturday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Our Daily Bread Ministries.
