June Ann Jones

June Ann Jones, age 81, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 21, 2024.  She loved to bake, including many cakes and cookies for parties and holidays.  She also loved to crochet various crafts and enjoyed many craft shows.  She worked many years as a bartender at the Chez Ami and the Comet and was known and loved by many.  She loved to dance and enjoyed country music.  She loved traveling (even 48 states!) and taking vacations with her kids and grandkids.  She later enjoyed her computer games.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Jones, son, James R. Vokoviak; parents, Elswin and Sarah Wissner. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Debra Rodriguez, Terri (Larry) Golden, Brandi Velasquez; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Little, Carol Herren; and many nieces and nephews.  According to her wishes, a private burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
