JAKOB - Mr. Julius E. Jakob aged 105, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Maria Jakob; brothers, Karl, Ernst and Robert; sister, Priska. Surviving are his sister, Barbara Dittmer; best friend, George Jaska; nephews, Guenther (Marcia) Dittmer, Robert (Janet) Dittmer; great niece and nephews, Zachary, Joshua, Alexander and Lauren; nieces and nephews in Germany, Peter (Friedgard), Ursula, Christa (Wilfried), Annelie (Gerhard), Bernhard and their families. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 6369 Belmont Ave., Belmont. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 6PM to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE, and one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday.
