Julie Slezak

Julie Ann Slezak, age 47, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2022, after a relentless battle with a chronic illness. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 25 years, Scott Slezak; children, Carl Slezak, Anne Slezak, Aurelia Slezak; parents, George and Marjorie Jaasma; brother, Michael and Jin Jaasma; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Audrey Slezak; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian Slezak, Kelly and Michael Newlan; nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Julie was proud of being the founder of Annie’s Heirloom Seeds and was an extremely talented musician. She loved her family and spending time with them. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson SW Grandville, with Fr. Stephen Durkee presiding. The burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.
