Julie Rinzema, age 80, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Her pride and joy was her family who will cherish her memory: her husband of 61 years, Robert; children, Scott and Sherri Rinzema, Barb and Den VanKoevering, Tammi and Steve VanderMolen, Lynn and Bob Dornbush; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gerri and Ray Breen, Joan and Paul Kremers, Wilma Poelman, Ann Keller. Her beloved dog, Nika. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Hans. Julie was an animal lover and passed that love on to her family. She enjoyed sports, boating, and many other outdoor activities. She was passionate about the time she spent driving a school bus for Unity Christian. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Brad Langstraat officiating. Burial Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, April 10, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Origins Church.
