Juliana Mabel (Hilton) McCaw February 25, 1962 - February 11, 2018 Born: Wurtsmith AF Base, Oscoda, MI This is My Sister and it hurts to write this death notice on her behalf. Julie has gone home to be with the lord at 55 years of age, after a lengthy and valiant battle with diabetes and heart disease. She is preceded in death by her late husband Loren McCaw, who Julie loved and missed deeply since his passing in 1997. Julie leaves behind her Mom and Dad, Rachel & Zandalow Hilton Sr. (Edmore, MI), brother, Zandy Hilton and his wife, Heidi and nephews Hunter and Marshall Hilton and niece Ember Hilton (Grand Rapids, MI), and a host of cousins and longtime friends. Julie grew up in Saginaw, MI, where she attended Herig Elementary and North Intermediate Schools. After moving to Hemlock, MI, in 1977, she attended Hemlock High School, where she proudly graduated in 1981. For the past 22 years Julie has lived in the Breckenridge/St. Louis areas, attending Amazing Grace Church in Wheeler, where she met and married Loren, the Coffee House in St. Louis and Cornerstone of Life Church in Alma, where she had currently been attending. Julie was a kind-hearted and loving person, who always shared her love of her family, her love of animals and her love of the Lord. She loved and cared for her niece and nephews as they were growing up. She liked to feed birds, squirrels and the occasional stray cat from her patio in St. Louis. Julie especially loved being an active, church going Christian. She boasted about being "a reborn Christian for 36 years now" and looked at going to church like going to work. She never missed a good sermon. We would love to have you join us in celebrating Julie's life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Cornerstone of Life Church 1250 E. Superior, Alma, MI 48801. Her family will greet relatives and friends prior to the service from 1PM- 2PM at Church.
