BALL - Mrs. Julia Ball aged 97 passed away peacefully, while in the company of family on Tuesday, May 9, 2018. She was born in August 2, 1920 to John and Anna Nessner. "Julie" was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Rocky Ball; sisters, Nancy Yearwood and Sophia Stoner. Surviving are her children, Don (Carla) Ball, JoAnn (Ward) VandenBerg, Gary (Heidi) Ball; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Donna Holland; several nieces and nephews. Julie had a wonderful spirit and fully enjoyed life, her family and friends. Fun, competitive games in cards and golf were always her passion that lasted throughout her lifetime. Julie along with her husband Walt, had many successful years as business owners in Grand Rapids MI. Gravesides services will be held 11:30 am, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd., Lansing.
