Judy Geers

Judy Geers (Mulder), age 79, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Judy was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who was blessed with a heart for others. She drove buses for Hudsonville Schools, mentoring and blessing students for over 30 years. Judy was also a nurse, working at Haven Park Nursing Home and Sunset Manor. Over the years she served her church in numerous ways, singing in the choir and was a GEMS leader. She also enjoyed camping and crocheting. Above all, her love for Jesus and serving others was evident to all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bern Grooters, brothers-in-law, Jim Kuipers, and Rog Slagter. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bruce and Gayla Geers, Chad and Elizabeth Geers, Brooke and Matthew Nichols; grandchildren: Brandon Geers, Caden, and Brylee Nichols, Mackenzie, and Sam Geers; siblings, Joy and Gord Bouws, Helen Kuipers, Randy and Peg Mulder; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Nate Meldrim and Pastor Gale Tien officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Sunset Legacy Foundation.
