Judith Marie Potter, age 74, of Howard City, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws; baby grandson, Max Potter; brother, Jim Platschorre; brothers-in-law, Bob Daniels, Gordy Dorn, Nyle Potter. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Danny Potter; sons, Steve Potter, Joel Potter; grandchildren, Sarah, Ross, Kory, Hannah, Logan; 8 great grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, Dan (LeeAnn) Platschorre, Connie Platschorre, Sandra (Kevin) Beyer, Barbara Daniels, Tom (Deb) Platschorre, Paul Platschorre, Gladys Dorn, Tim (Lisa) Platschorre, Jack (Nichelle) Platschorre; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack (Beverly) Potter, Dawn (Michael) Oberlin, Shari Potter, Mary (Gary) VanBeek, David (Patty) Potter, Robert (Brenda) Potter; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Judy and Danny enjoyed traveling around Michigan in their fifth-wheel. She was skilled at making crafts, creating beautiful stained glass pieces and she was a talented seamstress. Her greatest joy was loving her family. Memorial services will be held 11am Thursday, April 14 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SW, Kentwood, with Pastor Danielle Veenstra officiating. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
