Dear family, Jesus died for us "so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him'(1 Thessalonians 5:10). Clarice and I would have liked to be with you at the funeral service, but I had cataract surgery that morning. Both you mother and father were very dear to us, a friendship going back to 1964. I am from the Ireton Chr Reformed Church where your Dad and Mom served and led our congregation. I spent time with your Mom mostly when we led Coffee Break Bible Studies. She was a kind, softhearted, and giving woman of God who I admired greatly. I want to express our sympathies to you. Carmen and Kelly Noteboom
