Juan Gonzalez

GONZALEZ - Juan Miguel Gonzalez aged 89, died peacefully on October 10, 2015 at 3:05 AM at his home in Grand Rapids, MI. Juan was a Die Cast worker for Nelson Metals for over 36 years. He retired in 1989. Juan married Julia in 1953 and have been happily married for 62 years. Juan enjoyed watching Western's and spending time with his family. Juan was preceded in death by his son, Eduardo Gonzalez and Juan Jr. Gonzalez; grandson, Titi Gonzalez; son-in-law Richard Parker. Juan is survived by his wife Julia; children, Amada (Juan) Gonzalez, Marcial (Elisa), Robert, Lucy Parker, Jose (Mona), Patricia Gonzalez, Daniel, Ramiro, Jesus; 23 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; his loving nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, October 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE. Juan's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Prayers of the Rosary will be recited 7:30PM Thursday at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow at Kent Memorial Gardens.
