Joyce Smith

Joyce Smith, age 84, of Byron Center, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her dear husband on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bob Smith, and son-in-law, John Pape. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her children, Starlene (Steve) Palasek, Tina Pape, Bob (Michelle) Smith; grandchildren, Steven (Rachel) Palasek, Daniel (Jess) Palasek, Tanya Konyndyk (Walters), Dan (Allie) Konyndyk, Shelbi Smith, Savahanna (Christopher) Zandstra; great-grandchildren, Austyn Palasek, Brooke Palasek, Thayne Walters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Pat Binish officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice.
