Joyce Mockerman

Joyce Mockerman, age 81, of Jenison, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Faith and family were the main focus of her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 60 years, Richard Mockerman; their children, Pamela and Scott Deemter, Don Mockerman; grandchildren, Autumn and Dan Lunsford, Alicia and Paul Peck, Amanda and Paul Muilenburg, Andrea and Josh Lankheet, Tyson and Erika Deemter, Trace Deemter; 11 precious great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bonnie and Bob Dubridge, Ronald and Frances Sova, Sharon and Martin Kieft, Donald and Joy Sova, Audrey and Wayne DeMarr; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Tom Rozema, Elsie and Jerry Sircher, Charles and Marian Colligan; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas; brothers, Kenneth Sova, Bernard Sova and sister, Betty Colligan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or Grand Valley Community of Christ Church.

Joyce was a sweet lady who treated me with love and care and we became friend. Many times she reach out in times when I need support, I am sad she to hear about her passing.
