Josephine F. Duimstra

Josephine F. Duimstra, age 76, of Grandville, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, and her love of traveling and collecting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Victoria Flores; and her brother, John Joseph. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles; children, Eric Dent, William and Leticha Dent, and Lisa and Darby DeVoss; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dee and Terry DuPont, Rita and Jeff Bryan, Mary Flores, Michael Jr. and Adale Flores, and Juana and Jim Dennis; and many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Bud Pratt officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Faith Hospice Trillium Woods for the wonderful care given to Josephine. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Stephens Indian Mission Foundation.
