Josephine   Cooke

Cooke, Josephine Josephine (DeFouw) Cooke, aged 91, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Brookcrest Nursing Home and was reunited with her husband, Melvin Robert "Bob" Cooke and her son, Walter Leon Cooke.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Melvin Robert, Jr.  and Marsha Cooke, Mary and Alan VanOpstall, Kevin and Christy Cooke, Curtis and Susan Cooke, Cheryl and David Beute; daughter-in-law, Monica Cooke; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Henrietta Lenger, Nellie Bueschel, Marjorie Hutchins; sisters-in-law, Tika DeFouw, Emily Miedema; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Dave VanOpstall officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-10:45 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
