STEPHAN - Mr. Joseph Stephan, aged 91 of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Mr. Stephan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Wilma "Willie";daughter, Linda Jo; son (in-law), Gary Meade. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Dave (Wanda) Stephan, Char (Ben) Dykema, Jerry (Kate) Stephan, Jan Stephan, Lori Meade; grandchildren, Rod Stephan, Nikki (Tom) Glasco, Kim (Cal) Zomer, Kevin (Julie) Dykema, Kristen Dykema, Linda Stephan, LeeAnn Stephan, David Jay Stephan, Cecilia (Shawn) Sandee, Gary David (Carrie) Meade; great grandchildren, Greg, Brett, Paige, Emily, Jenna, Arianna, Darian, D.J., Taylor, Caiden, Landon, Lola; great great granddaughter, Zariah Marie; sister, LaVerle Minnema; sisters-in-law, Agnes Aman, Annette Romyn; several nieces and nephews. Willie and Joe owned and operated their family business, Quality Bakery in Godwin Heights side by side from 1957 - 1971. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life 10:00 AM Monday, October 22, 2012 at Faith Reformed Church, 618 32nd St. SW., with Pastor Bruce Osbeck officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service at church.
