Joseph John Rau

Joseph John Rau, age 62, of Kentwood, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Thomas North; and brother, Stephen James Rau. He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Richard Oscar Rau, Sr.; siblings, Sally Reeder, Richard and Kate Rau, Barbara and David Robinson, Daniel and Judy Rau; nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Jason, Jared, Jordan, Justin and Ryan, many cousins and dear friends. Joe was a hard working, loving, caring man who was a dedicated machine operator from many years at Benteler Industries. He was a workaholic who enjoyed hunting when he wasn’t working. He was a giving, selfless individual who would give you the shirt off his back. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 28 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 9-10 am at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Education Foundation.
