J.J. was also an avid Lions and Red Wings sports fan. He also enjoyed surprise adventures up north visiting lighthouses with his family, or to the property in Baldwin. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, attention to detail and hard work in everything he did, and his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Diane Caires. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Amy Caires; children: Kristina (Adam) Caires and Alexander Caires; 4 sisters; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. I will always remember J. J. from elementary school. He would ride his string ray bicycle to my house to talk. He love naming his sister using the fingers of his right hand. Always kind hearted. May you enjoy reunion with your loved ones and fellowship with Steve. Until we meet again... RIP.
