Joseph Carl Jeltema

Joseph Carl Jeltema, age 75, of Grand Rapids was welcomed at Heaven’s Gate by his dad, John Jeltema and his in-laws, Percy and Geri Crothers on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Annette; son, Brad and Molly Jeltema and their children, Marlow and Colbie; daughter, Michele and Tim Mergener and their children, Matt and Ryan; daughter, Julie Jeltema; mother, Eloise Jeltema; brothers, Tom and Linda Jeltema, Mike Jeltema; and many other family members. Memorial services will be held Saturday 11 am December 9, 2017 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St., Wyoming, with Rev. Dean Prentiss officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10 to 11 am at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Good Sam Benevolence Fund at Wesley Park United Methodist Church.

So sadden by the lose of your Joe but Heaven is now his home and you will be together again, we know. I will never forget thirty some years ago a excited Annette coming back to work from lunch telling me about a tall handsome man she met, Joe Jeltema and the love story began.
