Jose Ramon Gonzales Jr, age 49, of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Gonzales; grandmother, Petra Gonzales. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Monica Rodriguez; father, Joe and Gloria Gonzales; children, Celena, Imajun, Erik, Lucy, Xavier; grandchildren, Araliyah, Jadiel, Y’Neliz, Ty’Los, Henry, Avery; siblings, Shirley, Sara, Kimberly, Abe; extended family and friends. Jose loved his family, playing music, and helping others. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 11 am at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Jose loved his family, playing music, helping others, and of course the Dallas Cowboys. Jose was a respected member of the community who loved to play for benefits, festivals, and dances. Jose enjoyed every minute living in Michigan, but his heart belonged to Texas. Jose will truly be missed by his family, friends, and community.
