Jonathon Roger Terrill

Terrill, Jonathon Roger Jonathon Roger Terrill, age 33, of Grand Rapids, beloved husband of Marissa (Stalsonburg) and daddy of Elizabeth, has fought his fight, ran his race, and has been awarded his crown of righteousness (II Tim. 4:7&8)  on Sunday, December 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Jon was kind and selfless, who put others before himself.  He leaves behind a community of broken hearts including his father and step mother, Roger and Karen Terrill; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Arlene Stalsonburg; grandparents, Rex and Jo Motter, Joan Stalsonburg; sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Daniel Garver; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Steve and Jayme Stalsonburg, Daniel and Christina Stalsonburg, Josh and Shannon Stalsonburg; aunts, uncles, cousins, a special niece and four special nephews; and many friends.  Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Susan (Motter) Terrill; grandparents, Stanley and Margaret Terrill; uncle, Kevin Terrill; cousin, Paul Salmon.  Funeral services will be held on Friday 1 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Dan Ackerman officiating.  Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton, MI.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday from 12-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for his daughter, Elizabeth Terrill c/o Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home.
