Jon Zylema

Directions: (Due to Cutlerville Days, please take Eastern Ave South; to 66th street-west; to Paris Ave SE - South; Church is on the corner of Paris and 68th.) Jon Calvin Zylema, 72, of Byron Center, MI completed his journey on this earth and now rests in the arms of Jesus Christ his Savior. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Tena Zylema; his mother-in-law, Ruth Kraker; his sisters -in- law, Bea Zylema and Marge Zylema. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; their children, Dawn Zylema, and her son, Oliver of CA; Keren (Adam) Brinks, and their children, Kayli, Collin, Catherine, and Claire of GA; Kristi (Jake) Hall, and their children, Sophia and Jamison Jon, of Jenison; siblings, Roger Zylema, Delores (Dale) Sall, Jay (Lyn) Zylema, Mary (Paul) Ver Woert; many nieces and nephews. We want to thank the many people and congregations who lifted us in prayer before the throne of God; the precious folks who brought us food and ran errands, and those who gave up their nights so we could sleep. A Memorial service will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Cutlerville East CRC, 501 - 68th St. SE. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10AM - 12:00 prior to the service at church. We are especially thankful for Faith Hospice and the staff at Trillium Woods.
