Jon Kent Perry

Jon Kent Perry, age 70, of Rockford passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, James Eugene Perry; mother and stepfather, Mary Lou and Stan Pulaski; brother, James Perry. Jon will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debra Perry; children, Desiree Perry Reed, Jon J. and Mae Perry, John and Amber Stakelbeck, Jourden Perry; nine grandchildren; brother, Patrick (Margo) Perry; mother-in-law, Shirley McMurray. Jon proudly served in the US Army. While serving his country, he was awarded the National Defense Service medal and a Good Conduct medal.  He was a rifle sharp shooter. He was also proud of obtaining his bachelor’s degree and he was the kindest, most compassionate family man. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12:30pm at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI 49306 with visitation for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
