Jon Howell Morley

Jon H. Morley, age 63, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.  He was born and raised in Saginaw and graduated from Arthur High School.  Jon loved spending time at his family cottage at Higgins Lake for many years. He was a lifelong salesman and even met his wife working at Woodland Mall.  He had a loving, generous spirit and enjoyed helping others in many ways, including volunteering at the Family Network and distributing boots to homeless people in the wintertime.  He was a loving foster dad to both AB and many dogs along the way.  He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, campfires, and being outdoors.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Marianne; son, Jonathan Morley; siblings: Scott (Cindy) Morley, Karen Ebright, Jill (Norm) Nickels; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joe (Mary) Koopmans, Al (Janice) Koopmans, Robert (Mary Grinwis) Koopmans, Arlette Mican; many nieces and nephews; and beloved canine, Reggie.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katharyn Morley; brother-in-law, Cricket Ebright.  Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming with Rev. Peter Terwinkle officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 12-1 p.m. at  the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Network or Pleasant Hearts Pet Food Pantry.
