John was a great friend and mentor. We had many laughs when I was in corporate and we worked together on Christmas events. His vision in moving forward on a project was very inspiring. He was a blessing to all that were fortunate enough to have known him.

Dear Margaret: Donna and I extend our heartfelt prayerful support for you and family. We rejoice in the knowledge John has gone to be with our Lord and is now free of sickness and pain forever. How we will miss him so very much. We are encouraged by the hope we will be reunited with him never to be separated again. I am so grateful John gave me the opportunity to serve the Holland Corps as Development Director. He taught me so much, and trusted me to get the job done. I will be asking myself, "How would John handle this situation?"

It was so nice to work with John for 10 years while in the Soo. He'd come visit and say he brought his own cement because it was not "city" enough for him. He was such an encourager for Dan and I. We miss him. Praying for family and friends. Amy Voss
