John R. Schwartz

John R. Schwartz, aged 74 of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Suzanne; children, Katherine Schwartz, Robert (Erika) Schwartz, Joseph Schwartz; brother, Robert Schwartz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tim (Sheila) Weibel, Tom (Mary Jo) Sturm, Lonnie (Jane) Weaver, Dan (Colleen) Weibel, Bill Weibel Jr.; nieces and nephews, Laura (Tim) Bird, Chad (Kira) Weibel, TJ (Emily) Weibel, Molly (Patrick) Weibel, Tom (Jaime) Weibel Jr., Tom (Shannon) Sturm, Sara (Dan) Wheeler, Patrick Weibel, Rob (BrieLynn) Sturm, Lily Weibel, Dan (Alexis) Weibel, Matt Weibel, Winston Weibel, Natalie Weibel, Allison Weibel, and Cameron Weibel. John served patrons and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for 26 years. He proudly served his country in the US Army. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Lacks Cancer Center, whose caregivers were so wonderful and loving. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a vigil service held at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lacks Cancer Center or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
