John Mackinnon

John Mackinnon, age 63, of Comstock Park, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022. John was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, biking, tennis, and playing guitar. John will be remembered for his perfectly groomed mustache. He was preceded in death by his parents, Iva and Neil Mackinnon; uncle, Harold Loyd; and aunt, Joy Mead. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jack and Nicolle Mackinnon, Katie and Ben Lucas, Steven Mackinnon; grandchildren, Liam, Olivia, and Lucy; sister, Lynn and David Christianson; nieces and nephew, Andrew, Kathryn and Jack; great-nieces and nephews, Skylar, Madison, Jack, and Ryan. Memorial services will be held 4pm Wednesday, May 11 at Christ Church, 2500 Breton Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Addison Hawkins officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service from 3-4 pm at church.
