John Kenneth McMullin

John Kenneth McMullin, age 93, of Allendale passed away peacefully and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He was the son of Howard and Linda McMullin and was raised and continued to reside in Allendale. Ken was a humble man of God and a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa that cherished his family. His legacy of faithfulness to his family will be forever treasured. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp. during World War II. Ken retired after 37 years of dedicated service from Lear Siegler. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Peggy McMullin; his children, Marsha Coffey (James Heckard), Kevin and Joy McMullin, Jeff and Louise McMullin, Patrick McMullin (Linda Guiher); 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edith (Wolbrink) McMullin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brad Coffey and great granddaughter, Haven Johnson. Memorial services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Rev. Jim Maness officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 11-12 prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Life Stream Church Building Fund, 6561 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, 49401.

To my Aunt Peggy, thank you for your love for Uncle Ken. He cherished you so much. To my cousin's, you had a great Dad. With his sense of humor and smile, you never knew what he was up to. He shared his joy of life. To all the grandkids and great-grandkids, you had a super cool Grandpa and I know he loved you alot. As many tears as we have with him leaving, there are that many and more happy shouts as he is welcomed in to Heaven. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and Jesus loves you always.
