Van Dyke, John Jake VAN DYKE:  John Jake Van Dyke, age 88, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  Romans 8:1  He was preceded in death by his parents, Berend and Tryntje; brother, Jake; sister, Alice; daughter-in-law, Laurie.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Adie; their children, Diane and Gary Busscher, Ron and Sue Van Dyke, Jan and Ron Wiersum, Kevin and Bev Van Dyke, Nancee and Burk Holzgen; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Kooiman, Geraldine Ruis, Ruth Mastbergen; brother-in-law, Marvin and Melva Mastbergen; lifelong friend and fishing buddy, Nick Bolluyt; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday at First Jenison Christian Reformed Church, 8360 Cottonwood, with Rev. John Witvliet officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Brookcrest for all their loving care over the past two years.
