John “Jack” Glashower

John “Jack” Glashower, age 86, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Terpstra) Glashower; his brothers-in-law, Harris Broene and Richard Nyquist; and his sister-in-law, Eleanor Glashower. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Doug and Esther Glashower, Randy and Cindy Glashower, Judy and Dale DeVries, Jeff and Sue Glashower; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice and Sidney Meekhof, Jim Glashower, Joel and Joyce Glashower, Jerry and Cheryl Glashower; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ed and Dixie Terpstra, Alvin and Mary Terpstra, Elsie Broene; and several nieces and nephews.  Jack proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Jack Dik officiating.  Interment will be held at Blendon Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Unity Christian High School.
