John Howard Lindquist

John Howard Lindquist, age 55, of Alto, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. He proudly served our country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Ann and John H. Oefelein. He will be lovingly remembered by his significant other, Micki Heers; daughter, Maria Charlotte Lindquist; son, John Joseph Lindquist; granddaughter, Emerie; sister, Michele (Oefelein) Norris of Newton, NJ, Donna Warner of Phoenix, AZ; close friends, Doug and Ruth Roosien; several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am Saturday, October 27 at 616 E Main St., Caledonia with a memorial service to follow at 11 am.

Maria and Johnny, with deepest sympathy, may your memories last a life time. Your dad loved the outdoors through fishing and hunting. He named a spot behind our house "twin sisters" where he hunted between two white pines. We all played the "top rod" game at the cottage when you two were younger. One of my fondest memories was when your dad's phone could not get though to our phone from the woods but he could reach your mom to call us, lol. May God shine his light upon you and give you peace during this most sorrowful time.
