DICKENSHEETS - Mr. John E. Dickensheets Jr., aged 70 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel; sister, Susan Monahan. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Barbara; children, Daniel Dickensheets, Heidi (David) Hughes, Dawn (Ed) Sipple, Matthew (Bonnie) Dickensheets, John Dickensheets III, Destiny Hawkins; several grandchildren; brother, James (Linda) Dickensheets; Katherine (Chuck) Watson; several nieces and nephews. John proudly served in the US Navy. A memorial service will be held 1PM, July 23, 2016 at Community Christian Reformed Church, 150 Burt Ave. SE., his family will greet with relatives and friends, Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave and visitation one hour prior to the service at Church.
