John Charles Budrick Sr. (Budryk), age 100, of Kentwood, went to be with his Lord on Friday, October 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne; parents, Alexander and Margaret Budryk; brothers, Frank and Peter Budryk. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Cecilia Brzyski Budrick; son, John C. (Sandra) Budrick, Jr.; stepsons, David (Linda) Pelletier, Christopher (Anna) Pelletier, Darryl (Glenda) Pelletier; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. John proudly served our country during WWII as a member of the United States Army Air Corps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 52nd St. SE, Kentwood with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere, celebrant. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 6 - 9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with a rosary at 8:30 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
