John Calvin Korte

John Calvin Korte, aged 88 of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVera. He is survived by his son, John A. Korte (Carole Bejma); grandsons, Michael and Stacey Korte, David and Mandy Korte and their mother, Susan and Tom Cook; and great-grandchildren, Evan, Carson, Reagan, Langston, Jason, Justin and Kayla. John proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Funeral services for John will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 – 50^th Street SW, Wyoming with Rev. John H. Diener officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the church on Friday from 9:30-11 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
