BARR - Mr. John Timothy Barr, aged 58 of Kentwood, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents. John and Margaret Barr, his brother-in-law, Bentley Blackmer. Surviving are his sisters, Jennifer Blackmer, Margaret (Michael) Didion, Mary Barr; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE with Rev. Troy Nevins as Celebrant. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 6 to 8PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM.
