John B. Michel

John B. Michel, age 75 of Wyoming, passed away, Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Mincy Kenyon and mother-in-law, Renata Aulbach. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Helene; his children, Cathy Lynn (Mike) Olszewski, Lesley Anne (John) Brenner, James Edward Michel; grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Aven and Camden; great-granddaughter, Ava; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, plus many special friends. John proudly served in the US Navy. He was an avid U of M football and Detroit sports fan. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and being with friends; but most of all loved being with his family. Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home,4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. The family will meet relatives and friends Thursday 4-7pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Hospice.
