Johanna Visser

On December 12, 2018, Johanna Visser, age 94, went home to be with her faithful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Johanna is survived by Larry Visser, her loving and faithful husband of 74 years; their children, Sandra and James Heemstra, Kern and Jane Visser, Ron and Esther Visser, Donna and Mike Holtvluwer; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Esther Corrin.  Johanna was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished and was proud of her family. She will be affectionately remembered by her family; who have often remarked of the special heritage that Johanna and Larry have given them. A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Raybrook Manor Friendship Room, 2121 Raybrook SE, Grand Rapids with Pastor Doug Wood officiating.  Interment Findlay Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1-2 pm in the Friendship Room prior to the service.  A special “Thank You” to the many kind and gracious attendants at Holland Home for their 10 years of loving care and Christian encouragement.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holland Home.
