Jody McKinney

Jody Ann McKinney, age 54, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dianne Peters; grandmother, Maxine Tarbell; mother-in-law, Pat McKinney. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years, Robert “Bob”; father-in-law, Larry McKinney; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donna and Dave Jackson (Jacob, Jennifer, Amanda, Rebecca), Scott and Anne McKinney, Dan and Tammy McKinney (Ciara); uncles and aunt, Ron Tarbell, Mike Tarbell, Darcy and Don Oaks; cousins, Jenny, Ronny, Amy, Ryan, Sarah, Jamie, Ericka, and Katrina; and other extended family and friends. Jody enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, camping, travelling, and being with her Chow Chows. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.

Rest in peace Jody. It was so fun being with you as a competitor in the old days (Litscher Electric’) and later As a customer. I especially enjoyed seeing you at Westmaas Electric. That was a great home for you!! You always were very company minded! Bob, may you except my sympathies she was special Love you both!! Tom

I have fond memories of my time with Jody over the 10+ years we worked together. She was looking forward to getting “old” and being able to say whatever she wanted to say without a filter. She loved her doggies and everyone else’s dogs too. My Cuko will miss his Aunt Jody at work. She loved Bob and the only photo on her desk was of their wedding day. She made it through her whole life without a cell phone. I’ll miss our little jokes, I’ll miss sharing recipes, I’ll miss the little things that only her and I understood at work, I’ll miss her old school mentality. I’m glad that she finally got her brand new truck and that she was able to take some time off during COVID shutdowns. When it was time to leave for the day it would be 4:59 and she would say “ah, close enough”. If I beat her to it I’d say “it’s time Jody!” Well it’s time Jody. Until we meet again. Rest in peace.

Very sad to learn this news. Our prayers are with you Bob. The McKinney memories continue to be some of the most enjoyable times in our lives. Jody brings many of them.
